The agroindustry is one of the main contributors to post-industrial waste (being responsible for up to 54% of waste production in many countries in the world). Harper Adams University as part of the AgroCycle CE project is developing an anaerobic digestion technology to deal with waste of poultry farming and use it to produce energy, heat and nutrients that can be used latter as compost in other agro-industrial process. Is important to understand this is just one small step in order to arrive to a real agroindustry that complies with the circular economy parameters. I recommend
