MINIWIZ is a company which focusses on turning waste into high-performance materials, enabling a truly circular economy. The company has received extensive media attention, as well as many awards for innovation in the recycling and building-material sector. A great example is the "Trashpresso" machine: the ultimate expression of sustainable upcycling. It is a mobile upcycling plant that can be transported in two shipping containers to its customers. Once set-up in its location, it can turn 50kg of plastic bottles per hour into a low-cost building materials. The machine doesn't use any water and runs on solar power! Another thing that makes it so great! This machine can turn 5 plastic bottles into 1 tile, or 50 plastic bottle caps into 1 tile, which can then be used as high-quality building materials. Plus, the product can be recycled and used again! Scientists and engineers at MINIWIZ Trash Lab have invented over 1,000 new sustainable materials and applications. With data-based digital fabrication and AI recognition in trash material collection, combined with its own unique single material engineering and design methods, MINIWIZ is able to decentralize upcycling systems globally. What a great invention that can help companies worldwide reduce, recycle and reuse!

Wow Tali! Thank you so much for creating such a valuable and informative post. I had never heard of this company before but after reading your post I will definitely put in some more effort into researching the product and seeing how I can further contribute. What I love about this initiative is the fact that it is something that every person can get involved in. Everyone uses bottle caps on a daily basis and if there was an initiative to get one of these machines in every neighbourhood/ community, who knows how many recyclable building materials we could create together.
